Bhavya Mahajan, Public Interest Fellow: At P-PIL, Bhavya handles a number of public interest litigation and research projects. Prior to joining P-PIL, Bhavya worked as an intern at the United Nations Ombudsman and Mediation Services, New York, and as a mediator in Los Angeles Courts. Abhay Jain, Public Interest Fellow: At P-PIL, Abhay is running a Legal Aid Clinic in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh where he is working in some tribal hamlets on issues of displacement, forest rights, mining deaths, and community dispute resolution in Sahariya tribe. Abhay is also working with the Legal Services team of IDIA Odisha on a number on projects involving prisoners’ rights, Right to Education and minimum wages.
