After the utter mismanagement in the organisation of the Common Law Admission Test, the CLAT authorities have failed to come out with a consolidated as well as a category wise merit/rank list of all the students who took the test. As of now, the results are only accessible through candidates’ individual log in system and are out of bounds to the public. Moreover, even the results available through the log-in system do not provide for the ranking of those students who applied under the Specially Abled Persons (‘SAP’) category. Given the track record of the examination, such non-disclosure and opacity can potentially lead to seats being illegally allotted to undeserving candidates.
In the above regard, we have made a representation to the Chairman of the CLAT Implementation Committee, requesting the following:
- Publish a consolidated rank/ merit list of all candidates who have given the exam along with separate category wise rank/ merit list and make the same available for public viewing and download on CLAT website;
- Publish the results of Specially Abled Persons (SAP) category candidates along with consolidated SAP category merit/ rank list and make the same available for public viewing and download on CLAT website
